Olive Leaf Dry Herb

Olive Leaf Dry Herb Image

Olive Leaf extract can be achieved at home either in 'water extract' or tea or in the more commercially viable method of 'tincture' in alcohol.
Properties: Olive leaf displays antihypertensive properties, by being effective in lowering systolic and diastolic blood pressures in subjects with stage-1 hypertension.

A series of studies also provided good evidence that supplementation with olive leaf extract can help reduce skin damage and risk of melanoma associated with ultraviolet B exposure.
It is also being used widely in pain management excercises and speeding the healing of cartilaginous injuries.
Internal Applications: Tea and Tincture.
Active ingredients are oleuropein and oleacein.
These components usually exert a range of antioxidant, antihypertensive, antiatherogenic, anti-inflammatory, hypoglycemic, and hypocholesterolemic properties.

Contraindications: None are known at this time.

Due to exorbitant overseas postage costs, the dried herbs can only be posted within Australia.
